Amanda was one of those people who was always kind. Encouraged others to fight. When we were in the mortuary science program together she always had kind words for me. Also she was larger than life. I will miss her kind words of encouragement .;

My most heart felt condolences to Amanda's husband and family. Amanda was a dear childhood friend of mine. I will never forget the songs we used to make up as she played her first guitar with me. Rockin the heavens. Always in my thoughts.;

Amanda and I had worked together and we celebrated our birthday's together as they are on the same day. She was very sweet, kind, and intelligent. She will be missed dearly. I never got to meet her husband, but I know she was really happy with him by her pictures. I wish he did not have to endure the pain of losing his wife. My condolences with the family and friends.;

Jerry and family, I was very saddened to hear of Amanda's passing. She and my youngest daughter were classmates until we moved away. She was a lovely young lady, beautiful and always smiling. You and your family are in my prayers. Marilyn Ford (formerly VanSteenwyk);

Our family is at a loss for words. Jenelle and I are stunned. Amanda came to us looking for a chance to work in her home town. I'm saddened that we weren't able to get that chance. She had a passion for wanting to help people, and a spirit that was so strong that it will live on forever. I wish more people had a chance to see who she truly was! You won the battle Amanda... Rest in peace, see you on the other side.
