Roque John Villarreal

Villarreal, Roque John Teacher, Northfield H.S. & Cretin Durham Hall Age 68 of Apple Valley, born April 6, 1941 in Frost, Minnesota to William and Maria Aguilar Villarreal, passed away May 23, 2009 in Apple Valley. Roque attended North Dakota State University on a Football Scholarship, where he graduated. Roque taught Spanish at Northfield High School from 1966-88, and Cretin-Durham Hall, Saint Paul, from 1991-2008. Roque was a Pro-Am golfer in the mid-late 1970’s and loved playing his guitar. Roque was preceded in death by his parents. Roque is survived by daughters Lisa (Curtis) Johnson, Dee Ann McQuerry, Nicole Aguilar, Gina Villarreal, and Stacy (Glenn) Woodhouse, brother Albert (Isabel) Villarreal, sisters Sara (Don) Wirtjes, Cruz (Gordy) Anderson, and Connie Navarett, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass is scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, May 27 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4030 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan with visitation one hour prior. Memorials requested to the donor’s choice.
