Rev. Lowell D., age 81, of Apple Valley, went to be with the Lord he served for over 50 years on Sept 12th. Lowell enlisted in the Army in 1943 and served in the Pacific Theater, as well as India and Burma. Following WWII, Lowell married Alice Stevens on June 10, 1949 in Mpls. A graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary. Rev. Stoesz pastored churches in KY, WI, IA and MN. He was also instrumental in the founding of Friendship Village in Waterloo IA. Rev. Stoesz is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lois Stoesz; and daughter, Susan Fowlkes. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Alice; 3 daughters, Sharon (Gary) Dagsgard, Sheila (Kirk) Stufflebeam and Sandra (Richard) Jamieson, and 10 grandchildren. Rev. Stoesz was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, pastor and Evangelist who will live foever in the hearts of his family and in the hearts of many to whom he has minstered. Memorial service Saturday, 11 AM, Kingswood Church, 1264 109th Ave NE, Blaine, with the family greeting friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Private family interment Friday at Fort Snelling. Memorials preferred to Kingswood Church or Gideons International. |
