Olson, Shirley A.

Age 86 of Minneapolis, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 18, 2024 after a fall and surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill; and brothers, Marvin Carlson, Jerome (Shirley) Larsen, and Gene (Margie) Larsen. Survived by her sons, Bill Jr. (Drusella) and Harry (Terry); granddaughter, Whitney (Brent) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Connor and Hannah; sister-in-law, Shirley Carlson; many special girlfriends, Irene, Patty, Deanna, Sue, Mary, Barb, and Dorothy; neighbors, Janet, Bob, Laura, and Herb; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Shirley cherished the times with her close girlfriends, going to lunches and dinners and taking trips. She was very active with her church and had many good friends there as well. Shirley enjoyed going to the East Tennessee mountains to visit her family. Funeral at 11am on Tues., Nov. 26, 2024, at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 4101 37^th Ave. S., Minneapolis, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
