James L. Cox,

Age 92 of Minneapolis, born Nov. 19, 1920 in Devon, MT to Charles and Florence Cox, passed away with family at his side, Jan. 7, 2013. James was honored to serve in the USMC during WWII and Korea. He is preceded in death by wife, Mildred; daughter, Ann Bannochie and son, Gerald Stafford. James will be dearly missed by his daughter, Glenda Cox; sons: James Stafford, Robert (Ruth) Stafford, Bill (Leeann) Weddle; son-in-law, Eugene Bannochie; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Luella Reel and Betty Wilson; and way too many friends to even count. Funeral service, 11:00 AM, Monday, January, 14, 2013 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls., with visitation one hour before. James will be laid to rest with his wife at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the V. A. Hospital, Minneapolis, MN.
