Timothy Gale Beltz of Lakeville passed away Saturday, March 27. Timothy was born in Gaylord, Minnesota on March 8, 1958 to Gale and Marilyn (nee Kirchoff) Beltz. He graduated from Gibbon High School in 1976, and married Jeri Lynn (nee Lowinske) on August 26, 1978 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Timothy is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Jeri Lynn, daughter Sara, son Matthew, sister Pamela Beltz, parents-in law Paul (Jean) Volker, sisters-in-law Deb (Brad) Augustin, Margie (Curt) Koewler, Connie (Randy) Kosak, Brenda (Cory) Garoutte, and Bobbie Jo (Cliff) Carmody, several nieces (a special thanks to Erin for spending so much time by his bedside), nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jackie, and brother Mike. Timothy was an outstanding golfer, baseball, and softball player. He had been playing baseball and softball, specifically pitching, from 5 years of age until 2 years ago. He loved to fish, hunt, cook, and build campfires at his hobby farm in Elbow Lake. He was an avid writer, loved Astronomy, collected antique radios, antiques of any sort really, rocks, etc., and liked anything mechanical. Timothy was an intelligent and interesting man; a Jack-of-all-Trades. He also lived out his passionate love for dogs, and very recently, cats. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, March 31 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley. Visitation is 5-8 PM Tuesday, March 30 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, and one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be at Corinthian Cemetery in Farmington.
