BALDWIN

Zackary A., age 20, of Eagan, much loved son of Sarah Hedstrom and Lance Baldwin, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Zackary graduated from Eagan High School in 2012 and went on to attend the University of North Dakota. Zackary was a very loving, gentle and caring young man who left us too soon. He had a passion for all things with wheels and an engines. Zackary participated as a member of the crew for Win-Tron Racing traveling with the team and helping his uncle Mark service and maintain the race cars. He had learned many mechanical skills such as welding, engine repair, transmission work, etc. along with operating heavy equipment. He was loved by all of his friends because he could fix anything. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was camping, hunting, hiking or sailing. He spent many summers in the wilds of Northern Minnesota at YMCA camp and became a Junior Counselor. He earned his Black Belt in Karate and mentored young students. Zackary cherished spending time with all of his family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Zackary is survived by his mother, Sarah; his father and step-mother, Lance and Kathye; his sister, Trish and husband James Warren; nieces, Maddison and Haleigh; grandparents, Lawrence & Nancy Baldwin and Edward & Rosalie Soronen; uncle, Mark Soronen; aunts, Loralea Baldwin and LeaAnn Baldwin (Kevin) Cory; cousins, Cole, Ryan and Jacob DeCoux, Isaac Gilbert, Alexandra Cory, and Kellie Soronen; great grandfather, Chuck Hendricks; and great grandmother, Lucille Baldwin. He is preceded in death by his cousin, Nathan Earl Cory, and his great grandparents, Marie Hendricks, Herbert & Esther Murphy, and Lyman & Rosella Baldwin. Zackary was such a special young man, who will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. A memorial service for Zackary will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27 at 11 AM at Trondhjem Lutheran Church, 7525 Garfield Ave., Lonsdale, MN 55046, 507-744-2310, with a gathering of family and friends Friday, Dec 26 from 5-8 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th and Garrett Ave., Apple Valley and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
