William “Bill” Brummond
Age 64, went peacefully into the arms of his Heavenly Father surrounded by family on August 31, 2015 after a 2 ? year courageous battle with brain cancer. Preceded in death by father, John and brother, Tom. Survived by loving wife, Kathy of 21 years; children, Angela (Ryan) Kraft, Jeff (Cortney) Buck, Evan (Kristin), Kathryn (Craig) Smith, Alyssa (Robert) Rosson, and Jordan Buck; 11 grandchildren; mother, Norma; siblings, Dave (Peggy), Mike, Chuck (Maggie), Bob (Wendy), Jane (K) Wold, Susan (Robin) Dickey, Doris (Jeff) Payne, Jim, Patricia Myers, and Joan (Chris) Bowman; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Bill was born on May 22, 1951 in New Hampton, IA to John and Norma (Kramer) Brummond. He grew up in Ionia, IA and graduated from New Hampton Community High School in 1969. Bill later graduated from Mankato State University and received his Masters in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. No words could ever explain the emptiness in our hearts. He was an inspiration and a gift to all who were blessed to know him. Memorial Service 11AM Friday, September 4th at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Dr., Burnsville with a gathering at church beginning at 9:30 AM. Reception following at Poor Richard’s in Burnsville, MN. “If tears could build a stairway and memories build a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven, and bring you home again.”
