Fred and I are praying for you, Sonia, and your family during this time. You are an amazing mother and friend. I have no doubt the impact your dad on you and how much he loved you. My dad was a loving, caring, supportive, and humble man who was always there when I needed him. Throughout my life I always felt a warmth of love from him. When things in my life got tough, he was there to pull me through. And when it was time to celebrate, he was always there to cheer me on. I will miss my dad soooooo much. I am just thankful that God put him in my life and that I had 46 fantastic years as his daughter. #gonebutneverforgotten Sonia Alvarez-Robinson;

My heart is very heavy reading this news. Wayne and I were inseparable friends when we attended Corcoran Elementary School in South Minneapolis in the 1950's. Spent many hours riding our bikes all over South Minneapolis and overnighting at each others homes. Our parents were also good friends until death took them all. Art and Helen were like a second set of parents to me. I also remember his older sister Judy fondly. My sincerest condolences to all of you. May Wayne rest in peace and rise in glory.;
