Virginia M. Peterson
Age 91 of Minneapolis, born January 16, 1922 in Minneapolis to Walter and Sadie Oman, passed away September 15, 2013. Virginia was an active member of Lebanon Lutheran Church in Mpls., as well as the American Swedish Institute, V?sterg?tland Society, Scandinavian Friends and Lake Harriet OES #202. She was a sweet, gentle person always caring for others. She worked at Roosevelt High School and was a Head Election judge for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard; sister, Marjorie; brother, Richard and great-granddaughters, Chloie and Skylar. Virginia will be dearly missed by her daughter, Jill (Clarence) Trentlage; son, Jeffrey (Beverly); 5 grandchildren: Tim, Sarah, Jenny, Russell and Eric; 3 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Emily and Kayla and other family and friends. Funeral service, 11am, Friday, Sep. 20, 2013 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls., with visitation one hour before the service. Virginia will be laid to rest next to her husband at Ft. Snelling.
