Tricia Droske Jacobson

Age 42 of Apple Valley, passed away on the morning of September 21st, 2019. She was born on November 15th, 1976 and it is rumored that she started making friends with the North Dakota locals soon thereafter. Tricia will be remembered for her perfect smile, her infectious laugh, and her ability to make friends with anyone, anywhere, at any time. She fiercely fought breast cancer for over 8 years, always holding a personal mantra of ‘Try me, not why me’. Tricia is survived by her two children, Grady and KaliAnne; father, Doug; mother, Pam; brothers, Brian and James (Jenna); grandma, Darlene; aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extensive list of close friends. Her godparents were Buzz and Mary Burns. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim Larson, Ruth and Don Droske; and her cousins, Kris and Lynn. Memorial Service at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 27th at Grace Lutheran Church, 7800 150th St. W., Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. A celebration of life will follow at the Buck Hill Event Center in Burnsville, beginning at 3:30 pm. Friends and family are urged to bring stories and memories in writing for the family to hold – keeping Tricia’s memory strong forever. Memorials will be sent to the Angel Foundation, which provides support to local adults with cancer and their families.
