Sidney Earl Haroldson, 86, of Apple Valley and formerly of Richfield, passed away Friday, July 19. He is survived by Patricia, his wife of 63 years, son David, daughters Susan Meyers, Beth Hoopman, and Amy (Kent) Hooker, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Ellen Anderson and brother Acey Haroldson. Sidney was preceded in death by his sister Lorna Paulson. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Sidney loved ice fishing and constructing ice-fishing houses, and gardening. He will be forever treasured. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, July 24 at the Henry W. Anderson mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley (952) 432-2331, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment with Honors will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred.
