Feste, Ruth T.
Age 99 of Minneapolis, born October 24, 1912 in Glenwood, MN to Elling and Anna Vold, passed away May 31, 2012. An active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, she was involved in the Quilting Group, and the WELCA. She was a lifelong member of the Norwegian Glee Club Auxiliary and the longest living member of Vonheim Lodge of Sons of Norway. She worked as a school lunch lady for Minneapolis Public Schools for 17 years. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Chris. She will be dearly missed by children: Karen Feste (Serge Herzog), Dale (Cathy) Feste, Barbara (Jerry) LaSee; 4 grandchildren: Kristina Feste-Hanson, John (Katie) Feste, Tom and Claire LaSee; great-grandson, Frank Christian Feste and other family and friends. Visitation, 4 ? 7 pm, Monday, June 4, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls., and also one hour before the memorial service Tuesday. Memorial service, 1 PM, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Augustana Home Chapel, 1007 E. 14th St., Mpls. Free valet parking available. Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
