Trachy, Rosalyn E.
age 93, born Nov. 18, 1921 in Strandburg, SD, died peacefully on Apr. 3, 2015 in Golden Valley. Preceded in death by her husband, Ken Trachy, Sr.; daughter, Joyce; son, Jimmy; and first husband, Einar Haugan. Survived by son, Ken (Debbie) Trachy, Jr.,; daughters, Diane (Ron) Kolstad and Wendy (Jerry) Gunn; beloved grandchildren, Dane Gunn, Kelsey Gunn and Sean Trachy. Rose lived in So. Mpls. for 60 years. She was a talented musician, playing piano and organ and singing in the Southside Singers for 25 years. She loved playing games, especially Scrabble. She loved people and showing hospitality and made everyone feel loved and welcome. She stayed in touch with everyone. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Thank you to Tammy and staff at La Bonne Vie for their loving care over her last couple months. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Fri., 4/10/2015 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. Funeral service 11 am Sat., 4/11/2015 at Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church, 50th St. & 31st Ave. S., Mpls. with reviewal one hour before. Memorials preferred to Kidney Foundation or Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church.
