Tilson, Ron L.
age 69, of Apple Valley, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 16, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents. Ron is survived by his wife, Janet; his son, Lincoln (Amberly); granddaughter, Raelynn; sister, Sharilynn Womack; niece, nephew, colleagues and friends. Ron was a dedicated employee of the MN Zoo for 25 years and was an international consultant on Tiger Conservation. A gathering of family and friends for Ron will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 3-6 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Memorials are preferred to a conservation organization of the donor’s choice or to the MN Zoo’s Namibian Rhino Project.
