Roger J. Johnson, age 79 of Minneapolis, born July 11, 1929 in Minneapolis to Carl and Clara Johnson, died peacefully at home December 31, 2008 after a short battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by beloved wife, Betty Ann. Roger is survived by daughters, Debby (Dennis) McCoy and Kathy Rosch; sons: Robert (Patty) Lambert, Thomas (Kathie) Lambert and Charles (Ann) Lambert; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary and Dale; sisters: Marsha, Carol, Clara and Jeanette and many relatives and friends. Funeral service is 11:00 AM, Tuesday, Jan 6, 2008 at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. with visitation one hour before. Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made.
