Johnson, Rodney W.
Age 70 of Apple Valley, joined the Lord on January 17, 2017. Rodney was born on June 17, 1946 in Mitchell, South Dakota. Preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister. Survived by loving and devoted wife of almost 43 years, Marcia; son, Ryan (Amber); daughters, Amy and Alicia (Bryan); grandchildren, Addie, Takota, Alani, Brady and Cameron; sisters, Marnie (Rob Smith) Swanson and Kristi (Barry) Holden; brother, John (Paula) Swanson; puppy, Bella; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rodney served for the Army as a Medical Specialist for 2 years in Okinawa, Japan. He enjoyed being a long-arm quilter, reading, golfing, bowling, playing cards and spending time with his family. Visitation from 4-7 pm on Mon., Jan. 23, 2017 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Memorial Service at 10:00 am on Tues., Jan. 24, 2017 at Community of Hope Church, 14401 Biscayne Ave., Rosemount. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family.
