Roch James Hannasch, 49, of Apple Valley, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 15, 1963 in Carroll, Iowa to Jerome and Joan (nee Wittry) Hannasch. Roch is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lori (nee Dahling) , children Brandon, Gabrielle, Kyle, and Michelle, mother Joan Hannasch, brothers Gerry (Terri) Kraus, Mike (Val), Tom (Sue), Mark (Sharon), Dick (Kay), and Jim (Linda) Hannasch, sisters Jane (Gary) Walter and Mary (Randy) Donnelly. He was preceded in death by his daughter Amanda, brothers LeRoy Kraus and Patrick Hannasch, sister Teresa Hannasch, and father, Jerome Hannasch . Roch’ s volunteer service with the Boy Scouts, Loaves and Fishes, Habitat For Humanity and the Church of St. Joseph will be greatly missed, as will his game playing and humor. He will be forever loved and treasured. Visitation is scheduled for 4-7 PM Monday, February 4 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, (952) 432-2331, and Tuesday, February 5, 1 hour prior to 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Joseph, 13900 Biscayne Avenue West, Rosemount. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Roch Benefit Fund.
