Robert W., “Wayne”, age 84, of Apple Valley, MN passed away on August 25, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, 5 sisters, and step-daughter, Valerie Kvale. Wayne is survived by his brother, Dick; 3 sisters, Betty Aucutt, Barbara Pfeifer and Mary (Lyle) Larson; step-daughters, Debbie (Kern) Wessman and Gayle (Dave) Benson; 3 grandchildren, Elle (Curt) Swenson, Michael (Cassy) Kvale, and Andrea (Bryan) Puterbaugh; 10 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Lizzy, Mara, Jacob, Emma, Gavin, Abby, Bella, Isabella, and Kylee; nieces, nephews and many friends. Wayne’s love of his life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A proud patriotic volunteer and 20 year Navy Veteran. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the VFW. Funeral services 11 AM Tuesday, August 30, 2011, in the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 7625 Chicago Ave. South, Richfield with his visitation Monday 5-7 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Minneapolis and one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
