Robert Leo Brenner

Age 98 of Apple Valley, born October 26, 1923 in Hibbing, MN to Joseph and Margaret Brenner, passed away August 4, 2022.

Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater during WWII earning the Purple Heart Medal and is also a POW survivor.

In 1947 he married the love of his life, Lorraine. Together they loved traveling, dining, dancing and casinos. They kind of liked us kids too….

Bob is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 65 years, Lorraine and siblings: Lucille, Gene, Don, Ken and Claude.

Bob will be dearly missed by his children: Sharan Frovik, Steve, Tom (Cyndi) and Ron (Kelley) Brenner; grandchildren: Erik (Julie), Jed (Nilka), John (Katie), Natalie (Francisco), Katie (Jameson), Angie (Andrew), Chris (Jacqueline) and Caitlin (Josh); great-grandchildren: Aubreyana (Danny), Zack, Alek, Grace, Kora, Charlie, Gunnar, Beau, Lolo, Faye, Sloane and Benjamin Robert; brother, Ralph (Vivian) and many other family and friends.

Memorial Service, 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 29, 2022 with visitation starting at 10:00 AM, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave. in Apple Valley.  Robert will be laid to rest with his wife, Lorraine at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery following the service.

A further celebration of life will follow at Apple Valley American Legion, 14521 Granada Dr., Apple Valley, MN 55124

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
