Robert (Bob) Francis Hamill, Age 69 of Lakeville passed away at home on December 14th. He was born on May 6, 1941 in Algona, Iowa to Frances and Paul Hamill. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jean; children Jeff (Jodi) Hamill, Kelli (Shaun) Peltier, Traci (Andrew) Elasky and Trudi (Chris) Beardsley; eleven grandchildren whom he greatly adored and brother Pete (Paula) Hamill. He loved to work as President of Prairie Line Inc., the firm he and Jean established in 1981. A natural leader, he helped form the Apple Valley Athletic Association (VAA) where he served as a board member and coached multiple youth sports teams throughout the years. He loved to go to the lake, golf, fish, boat, snowmobile and travel. Bob will forever be loved and greatly missed by his family and friends. Although this time is difficult, there is comfort in knowing he is welcomed into heaven by his mother, father, favorite dog (Coot) and other family and friends who passed away before him. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, December 18 at the Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 East County Road 42, Burnsville. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday, December 17 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, (952) 432-2331, and 1 hour prior to Mass at the church. Entombment will be in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, Burnsville.
