Richard P. Fenner

Fenner, Richard (Dick) P. age 77, of Lakeville, died suddenly on June 24th of an abdominal aneurysm. Dick grew up in Montevideo, MN, later moved to Hancock and graduated from Morris Ag School in 1955. He came to Minneapolis where he attended Dunwoody. He received training in Welding and became his life-long skillset. He spent 6 months in the Reserves and returned to St. Paul to pursue his career as a Welder at Carl Bolander & Sons. He worked there for 41 years and retired in 2000. Dick’s many passions included running, building/rebuilding anything, and enjoying time traveling with his wife of 53 years. He is survived by his wife LaVerne and children, Kevin, Brian, Patty and his grandchildren Alex and Keith. Services will be held Monday June 30th at Hosanna! Lutheran Church, 9600 163nd Street West, Lakeville, MN 55044 (Door # 5 ? Chapel) at 11:00 with a gathering starting at 10:30 at the church.
