Age 87 of Mpls., born Oct. 14, 1931 in Moose Lake, MN to Emil & Ellen, passed away May 19, 2019. Faithfully served the Lord at Park Avenue United Methodist Church for 62 years, resident of Nokomis Square, and a longtime career at FOK, Trustworthy and United Hardware. He served as Corporal in the US Army. Palmer will be dearly missed by his children: Cheryl (César) Uribe, Kevin (Debbie) and Karen (Tom) Madsen; grandchildren: Jason, Sarah (Josh), Emily, Nicole, Paul (Alexis) & Jenna; great-grandchildren, Nora & Quinn; brother, Allen; sister-in-law, Luella; and cousin, Marilyn. Preceded in death by his dear wife, Clara; and many sisters & brothers-in-law. Visitation 3-5pm, Sun. June 9 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. and Memorial Service 11am, Mon. June 10 at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 3400 Park Ave., Mpls., with a visitation one hour prior. Memorials may be made to Park Avenue United Methodist and Miracle Ranch Children’s Home.
