Sheppard Family you were indeed blessed to be in Mikes life as he touched everyone he came in contact with. I believe you had a front row seat with how to live your lives.

Dear Shepherd family, my deepest condolences. Although many years have passed since we last communicated, my memory of Mike remains that of an exceptionally generous, kind, and loving friend. When I arrived in Edina as an exchange student in 1974, Mike adopted me as his “cousin” and helped ease my transition into the church and high school communities. I treasure those memories and I am saddened by the loss of a very special person.

Shep's kindness and sense of humor will be so dearly missed. He was a great friend to Wayne and myself. I am sure he and Wayne are laughing and fishing for "lawn chairs" in the great Heavens above. My thoughts and prayers are with Kathy, Becky, Kyle and all loved ones and friends.
