Melvin W. Neumann
Age 91 of Minneapolis, born June 20, 1923 in Buffalo, NY to Arthur and Laura Neumann, passed away August 22, 2014. Melvin served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post #0435. He is preceded in death by his son, Thomas. Melvin will be dearly missed by his wife of 68 years, Grace; daughter, Norma Jean Burnside; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Neumann; grandsons, Garrett Burnside and Dustin Neumann; great-granddaughters: Abbigail, Gabriella and Vivianna Burnside; brother, Robert; sister, June and many other family and friends. Visitation, 5-8pm, Thursday, August 28 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls and also one hour before the service at church. Funeral service, 10:30am, Friday, August 29, 2014 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3430 E. 51st St., Mpls. Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
