Harlan, Mary Jo

Age 79 of Minneapolis, born March 19, 1939 in New Hampton, IA to Nicholaus and Loretta Laures, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, August 4, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Art; parents and brothers, Don and Paul Laures.  Mary Jo will be dearly missed by her children: Jodie Anderson, Gretchen Schaefer, Tony (Kara) Harlan, Kevin (Julie) Harlan and Dayna (Sok) Ung; grandchildren: Zachary, Taylor, Adam, Riley, Cole, Paige, Josh, Olivia, Evelyn, August and Sydney; sisters: Bernie (Larry) Novack, Agnes (Barry) Pearson and Gina (Ron) Gustas;  brother, Ray (JoAnne) Laures and many other family and friends. Visitation, 4-7 PM, Tuesday, August 7, with the Rosary at 6:30 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls.  Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 with visitation one hour before at Incarnation Catholic Church, 3817 Pleasant Ave., Mpls.  Mary Jo will be laid to rest at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery with her husband, Art.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Incarnation Catholic Church 2020 Fund or Our Lady of Peace Hospice.
