I'm sadden with Fern's passing. I met her over 30 years ago when we worked together at Westview Elementary and have kept in contact with her throughout our friendship. She was a fun loving person and always cared about others. She was a part of our Rascals "Lunch"bunch" and we will miss her dearly.;

I just read the HCN letter and I just found out tonight of Fern's passing. I am in shock, she seemed to be doing well, I thought. I met Fern and her Husband through through HCN bake sale. What a sweet lady and feel we bonded immediately, we became email buddies and was wondering why she had not been responding lately. Fern was very supportive and private but would share info if asked. I away so happy to have know her even tho for only a couple years. RIP sweet Fern?? Marilyn Olson Jacob....transplant 4/5/2010;

Fern and I have shared a lot of good times and I will miss her terribly. I use to baby sit her and her siblings when they were all very young. My sister Maxine, Fern's mother would bring all the children to our farm to visit and I remember it was a great thrill for all of them to explore the dairy barn and to help feed the animals. The lord made no better person than Fern and she will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.;

Very sorry to hear of Fern's passing. I pray that Maynard, Chad and family find peace. I will miss her smile and her positive attitude.
