Eggum Marvel G. “Marv” Eggum, age 66, of Burnsville, died tragically from a car accident on Sept. 13, 2005. Preceded in death by parents, Milo & Gladys. Survived by loving wife of 46 years, Joan; son, Blaine (Laura); daughters, Pamela (Wayne) Fahrenkamp and Jennifer (Gene) Flynn; grandchildren, Blake, Katie, Benjamin and Riley; brothers, Truman and Oscar Jr.; sisters, Gwen, Holly and Pauline; and many nieces and nephews. Marv was a generous, kind, loving man who would give you the shirt off his back. All kids knew him as the “Magic Grandpa” because he always had a trick in his pocket. Marv loved life, loved people and he made friends wherever he went. It was said of him that success never made him think he was better than the other guy. He was always ready and willing to give a helping hand. We will always remember his rosy cheeked smile and big warm hugs. Marv will be greatly missed by his business colleagues for his integrity, hard work and creative mind. Funeral service will be 5 PM Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Berean Baptist Church, 309 E. Cty. Rd. 42, Burnsville with visitation from 3 PM until 5 PM before service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family. There will also be a service & burial on Wed- nesday, Oct. 5, at 2 PM at Zion-Sarpsborg Lutheran Church, Dalton, MN.
