Marilyn was a much-loved aunt. We enjoyed visiting with her every time we would travel to Minneapolis. She was always a gracious hostess, so positive and welcoming, with many interesting stories to share, especially about becoming part of the "Brude clan." She touched many lives and will be missed. Her faith in God was an inspiration, and we know she is now with her Lord. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life; those who believe in me, though they die, yet shall they live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die." Luke 11:25-26a

Mrs. Gisselquist was one of my favorite teachers at Pratt school. She was my teacher for 1st and 2nd grade in the mid-1970s. I transferred in mid-year from another class my first year with her, and she made me feel welcome and special. I loved choir with her and was part of the class that created the Pratt school song (I still remember all the words). I am so grateful that she was a teacher - she touched so many lives for the better. My sympathies to her family and friends.
