Hulslander, Marguerite “Margy” (nee Carlson) passed away Aug. 27, 2006 in Apple Valley, MN. Margy was born Nov. 17, 1932 in Winnebago County, Iowa. She was raised in Lake Mills, Iowa. She graduated from nursing school in 1954 at Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea, MN. She worked as a nurse in St. Peter and in St. Paul, MN and in Albuquerque, NM. In recent years, Margy has been actively dedicated as a volunteer in the Community Meals program at Grace Lutheran Church in Apple Valley, MN. She has many dear friends there. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Seth; and by her parents, Conrad and Minerva Carlson of Lake Mills. She is survived by her loving husband Lee, with whom she celebrated her 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2005, and by her daughters, Rachel Anne Kass and Nora Jean Anderson, and by her son, William Hulslander. Margy leaves 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Community Meals program. Service Thurs. 11 AM, Grace Lutheran Church, 7800 West Cty. Rd. 42, Apple Valley, with her visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett, Apple Valley. Inurnment Lebanon Cemetery.
