Margaret A. Thone
age 105, of Mpls., born Aug. 21, 1907 in North Dakota to Olaf and Inga Vegoe, passed away November 24, 2012. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Henry, and son, Gary. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Marjorie “Margie” Smith; son, Harlan Thone (Arlene); daughter-in-law, Linda Thone; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold and Clifford Vegoe and many other relatives and friends. A proud Norwegian, Margaret was a 1929 graduate of State Teachers College and a long time active member of Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church. Funeral service, 11AM, Friday, Nov 30 with visitation one hour before at Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church, 4120 17th Av S, Mpls. Margaret will be laid to rest next to her husband at Sunset Cemetery in Mpls. Memorials may be made to the church.
