Marcella M. Reemts
Age 99 of Cannon falls, formerly of Mpls., born May 21, 1914 in Moneta, IA to James and Catherine Currie, passed away Feb. 22, 2014 at Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls. Marcella was a lifetime member of the United Church of Christ, VFW #1296 Ladies Aux., OES in Aberdeen, SD, and Eagles #34 Aux. She is preceded in death by husband, Vernon, and sister, Gladys. Marcella will be dearly missed by her son, Donald (Rose); grandchildren: Christopher (Jennie) Shay, Kyle (Kelly) Shay, Michele (Patrick) Mulcare, Kathleen (John) Dawson, David Shay and John (Deb) Shay; great-grandchildren: Jackie, Ryan, Heidi, Ashley, Chase, Amber, David, Cole, Jerrett, Weston, Nicholas, Macayla and Joey; niece, Kathleen (Glenn) Robel and other family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Angels Care Ctr. and the St. Croix Hospice. Funeral service, 11:00 AM, Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 with visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Marcella will be laid to rest with her husband, Vernon at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
