Age 93 of Lakeville, entered eternal rest on Aug. 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by first wife, Evelyn M. Hardy; daughter, Diane Saffert; granddaughters, Danette Crawford and Megan Burkard; 3 siblings. Survived by wife, Evelyn B. Hardy; daughters, Vicki (Gary) Eckes, Barb (Jim) Hardy Albee and Terri (Brian) Akason; step-children, Anne (Bill) Jackson, Mike (Rita) Yonkovich, Rick (Roberta) Yonkovich, Paula (Steve) Rue, Gary Yonkovich, Marlys (Reed) Houge, Mark (Lori) Yonkovich and Alan (Jessi) Yonkovich; grandchildren, Michelle, John, Becky (Bill), Dan (Julie), Angie (Brad), Julene (Brian), Joe, Erin, Brett, Kelly and Jenna; other relatives and many friends. He was proud to serve in WWII in the Merchant Marines. He had a long, successful career with Allis-Chalmers. In his younger days he was an avid baseball player in So.
