I was born the day of my Great Grandmother's funeral and now 64 years later, dear Leonore's funeral. Both ladies were great women of faith and piety. Your folks arrived at Pine Valley Community church on a day I chose to play some old hymns usually played at more liturgical churches. Leonore told me it was an answer to her prayers as she was concerned whether or not she would feel at home. We loved her dearly - your dad, too. What precious memories I have of them and their love for the LORD and for family. My three children, now grown, were prayed for regularly by your folks. David is now a Family Practice doctor, Ann is a nurse and stay at home mom, and Bobby is an officer with LAPD working with gangs in South Central LA. I heard many stories centered around your 'growing up days' and Lo Har Lodge. Years ago I played the piano regularly there for a "music reminiscence' program, and of course I included old familiar hymns. She'll be missed!
