Olson, Larry Raymond, age 82, of Mpls. Leaving his pain and struggle, Larry went peacefully to our loving Savior. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Clara Olson; brother, Donald Olson; brother-in-law, Donald Engstrom; and godchild, Jean Johnson Mudge. Larry loved his family; wife, Marilyn of 55 years; “his girls”, Pamela, Kimberly and Melissa Boogaards; son-in-law, Mike; grandchildren, Marques Olson, Alec and Brooke Boogaards; siblings, Marjorie Engstrom, his buddy & fishing partner, Myrtle (Robert) Wright, Gerald (Marlene) Olson; sister-in-law, Dolores Olson; godchildren, Dale Engstrom and Nancy Olson; many loving relatives, friends and neighbors; in-laws, Mavis, Cheryl, David and Heidi Hawkinson. Special thanks to Marge, Joe Taylor, Dr. Tom Mayer, Roger Willhaus and caregivers at the Mpls. VA Nursing Home. Larry worked at Yellow Taxi Co. for 32 years until his accident Nov. 1980. Larry will be deeply missed. Service 11:00 AM Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls, 5212 41st Ave. S. Visitation 5-7 PM Tuesday at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. and 1/2 hour before service at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
