Kathleen was one of the most knowledgeable, reliable and dedicated co-workers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She excelled at her job and never hesitated to assist customers, as well as co-workers, whenever needed. I admired Kathleen for her tremendous work ethic, as well as her amazing puzzle working skills! I fondly remember those times in the breakroom, when she would get twenty pieces placed, while I was still trying to figure out one! We shared many laughs, had some great chats and accomplished a lot of work during our years together at Macy's. I am grateful to have those happy memories and hope that Kathleen's family and friends can find comfort in their memories of her. She will certainly be remembered and missed.

Kathleen was a wonderful human being. I will so truly miss her and our chats about books, and sitting with her doing puzzles while having lunch in the break room. I could always count on her for a witty quote or quirky observation. She never turned down a request for help, and she was as good as they come. She shared this quote once from Silver on the Tree (The Dark Is Rising #5) by Susan Cooper: “For ever and ever, we say when we are young, or in our prayers. Twice, we say it. Old One, do we not? For ever and ever ... so that a thing may be for ever, a life or a love or a quest, and yet begin again, and be for ever just as before. And any ending that may seem to come is not truly an ending, but an illusion. For Time does not die, Time has neither beginning nor end, and so nothing can end or die that has once had a place in Time.”

Kathleen was a superstar at Macy’s where I had the privilege of working with her. Her dedication, passion, kindness, and sense of humor couldn’t be matched. She will be missed by many of her coworkers and customers. My deepest sympathies to her friends and family.

I had the privilege of working closely with Kathleen in the Home Department at Macy’s. Her diligence, kindness, and attention to detail were qualities that I always found very admirable. She inspired me in many ways to take advantage of each new opportunity to learn, and then to teach what I learned to others. Whether she was working with a customer or a peer, she was always eager to share expertise and lend a helping hand. Kathleen is so sincerely and deeply missed! I count myself blessed to have been able to know her and learn from her.

I took many breaks with Kathleen at work in the employee lounge doing puzzles with her. She was a superior sales associate who always gave her time and volunteered for special projects. She will surely be missed
