Dear Dee & Eric, As you know I coached Joe at least three times during his hockey at AVHA, and since Joe died and especially after the funeral I realized how important these kids I had the opportunity coach are to me. Joe always had a smile on his face, always worked harder than most of the kids on the team, and a was all the coaches favorite. He was respectful, and just a fantastic kid, I sincerely will miss him, and have over the years run into him at football games and down at Hayes where I often go to try and keep up with the kids on the ice. You were great parents, because Joe was a great kid, a true reflection of who you both are. Deb and I cant imagine what your family is going through, and I want you to know you are in our prayers, and Joe will always have a small part of my heart. i have his memorial card in it place on my desk with his favorite yellow candy taped to it. I know it will be there as long as this desk is standing. If we can do anything, please please call us, we remember who the nice people we got to know were in hockey...and you both were at the top of the list! Respectfully, Tom, Debbie, Ryan, Devon & Alex McNamara;
