I had the pleasure of working with John at Johnstech international. John was a very smart and dedicated man. While working there, we worked on together for a while on the Edge contactor. John was the lead technical member of the team. John recreated a mature product. The result is a product solution that is still technically viable and still being actively sold by Johnstech some 15 years later. One of my memories of John is a time when he helped me with a flat tire on my bicycle. I road bicycle during my lunch breaks at Johnstech. Once during a lunch time ride, I got a flat tire. I was about five miles from Johnstech when the tire went completely flat. The first person I thought of to come and get me was John. He came with his truck. We put the bicycle in the back of John’s truck and headed back to Johnstech. I was back in time for my 1:30 PM meeting. I know John as a person you can count on. As someone who grow us in the boy scouts, I was always impressed with John’s work with the Scouts. John will be missed.

I was so sad to hear the news of John’s passing! I remember the day we met at a RSC practice, Emil starting and g-man in a stroller. It was very obvious, at the time, that he was passionate about the sport and became a great asset to the team the years he was involved! I know he will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Sincere condolences to John's family. I worked with John years ago on many projects. He was always great to work with, willing to help anyone out, and do what it takes to get the job done. I really enjoyed all of the non work related conversations and jokes shared. John was a truly nice man and he will be missed. Great picture!
