Janet E. Kolve
Age 82 of Minneapolis, born October 30, 1933 in Minneapolis to John & Dorothy Butler, went to be with the lord April 5, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Franciscan Health Community. Janet was a 1951 graduate of Roosevelt HS and a 25 year employee of Purina Mills, Mpls. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, reading, and knitting. She is preceded in death by her best friend and companion, Tom Wurderman. Janet will be dearly missed by children: Kathleen Kolve-Thomas (Ernest), Cindy Johnson (Mike), Chris Kolve (Johnell) and Jean Ruond (Ken); grandchildren: Melissa (Nate), Coral (Steve), Bjorn (Maureen) and Rachyll; great-grandchildren “life’s bonuses”: Jeremiah, Rubin, Claire, Savannah, Faviola, Hugo and Elsa; brother, John Butler (Pam) and many other family and friends. Visitation, 5-7pm, Thursday, April 7th at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, April 8, 2016 with a visitation one hour before at Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church, 5011 31st Ave. S., Mpls. Memorials may be made to MOCA or the church.
