Margaret Jane Thompson, age 93 of Lakeville, born September 8, 1928 in Lawrenceville, IL to Royal & Isabelle Laakman, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 5, 2021.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, George.
She will be dearly missed by her daughters, LuAnn (David) Neuman and Jo (Brad) Thies; grandchildren: Nicole, Sean, Maddie, and Christopher; great-grandchildren: Abby, Zoë and Franklin.
Funeral Service, 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 9, 2021 with visitation one hour before at Berean Baptist Church, 309 County Rd. 42 E., Burnsville. Jane will be laid to rest with her husband, George at West Christiania Cemetery in Lakeville.
Memorials may be made to the church or Operation Christmas Child-Samaritan’s Purse.
