James E, “Jimbo” Sandbrg,
Age 72 of Minneapolis, born Feb. 16, 1940 in Minneapolis to John and Cornelia Sandberg, passed away, July 3, 2012. He is preceded in death by his grandson, “Lil” Jimmy E. Sandberg. Jim will be dearly missed by his sons, Jim (Cindy) and Joey (Ann) Sandberg; grandchildren: Laura, Ryan and Heather; sister, Jean (Bjorn) Karlsen; nieces, nephews, family and friends. Jim was a member of the Teamsters Local #792 Beverage Drivers and also a member of the Eagles #34. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Funeral service, 1:00 pm, Monday, July 9, 2012 with visitation starting at 11:00 am, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Reception, 3:30pm – 5:30pm at the Eagles Aeries #34/Legion Post #1, 2507 E. 25th St., Mpls. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers.
