Dickhaus, Ione M.

Age 93 of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Dec. 24, 2024. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Raymond; 3 great-grandchildren; parents; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and son-in-law, Shawn Tighe. Survived by her loving daughters, Debbie (Jim) Wagner, Nancy (Jeff) Keller, Pam (Mike) Miller, Cindy (Randy) Retherford, and Karen (Steve) Andree; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Doege; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Ione may have been small in stature, but her zest for life and adventure was huge! She loved crocheting, quilting, embroidery, traveling, camping, puzzles, reading, and gardening. Ione had a great sense of humor and could make friends with anyone she met. She was a very loving person and created special gifts for everyone she knew. Family was very important to her and she will be dearly missed. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Tues., Dec. 31, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Ave. W., Rosemount, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Sauk Centre.
