Canfield, Gerald J.
Age 76 of Golden Valley, MN born Feb. 19, 1938 in Minneapolis to George & Eileen Canfield, passed away suddenly Nov 2, 2014 in S.D. Jerry served as a Lieutenant in the Coast Guard Aux., was a member of the Minnetonka Power Squadron and loved hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and John. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 45 years, Kathy; children: Jeff (Julie), Cindi McDonald, and Tammy (Juan) Cornejo; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Michael (Betty) and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation 5-7pm, Thursday, Nov. 6, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. and also one hour before the service Friday. Funeral service, 11:00am, Friday, Nov. 7 at the mortuary. Jerry will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
