Vadakin, Estelle T. Age 83. Beloved Mother and Grandmother, she will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched. Estelle is survived by her children Jerome (Kate), Michael, Kathleen (Larry) Burgett, Margaret (Scott) Lares, Susan, and William John Vadakin, and grandchildren Nicole (Adam) Osborne, Sean Lares, and Ashley Estelle Vadakin, and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Jim, and a granddaughter, Tina. Estelle spent many years as a cook for Country Kitchen, Jimmy’s Lemon Tree, and Blue Cross, before retirement. After a couple of years, she unretired, and took what she called the best job she ever had, as a greeter for Walmart in Apple Valley, retiring in December, 2007. She will be missed for her quick wit and perpetual smile. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, February 21 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue. Gathering of Friends and Family will be from Noon until service time. Memorials are requested to St. Jude??(TM)s Children Research Hospital, Special Olympics, or the Minnesota Valley Humane Society.
