Eleanor Ann ‘Ellie’ Sablak, 82, of Burnsville, passed away Christmas Day. She was born January 9, 1932 in North Hudson, Wisconsin to Frank H. and Clara (nee Dabruzzi) Richie. Eleanor is survived by sons Tony (Irena) and Steven (Sherri) Sablak, daughter Julie (Greg) Nelson, grandchildren Jason and Kyle Nelson, Stephanie Phillips, Jenny and Sami Sablak, and Jilla and Virginie Nadimi, and sister Rose Brennhofer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 50 years, James, and sisters Lou and Florence. Eleanor was extremely proud of her full-blooded Italian heritage. She lived out her love and total devotion to her family by cooking her famous ‘Ravs’, to her friends by being a faithful friend, and her LORD by organizing church services at Valley Ridge. Eleanor’s legacy of love and humor will be forever treasured. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Noon, Tuesday, December 30 at the Church of Saint Joseph, 13900 Biscayne Avenue, Rosemount, with Visitation starting at 10 AM.
