Thiede, Edith M. age 94, passed away peacefully Jan. 28, 2006 in Maple Grove, MN. Born and grew up in N. Mpls. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence; parents; sisters, Gertrude Staley, Marie Townsend; and brother, Paul E. Kroehnert. Longtime employee of Mpls. Honeywell, member of Honeybelles, active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Mpls., Veteran’s Administration Volunteer, member of VFW Ladie’s Auxiliary #178. Survived by nephew, Paul D. Kroehnert and wife, Joan of Maple Grove; great-nieces, Deborah (Tony) Andolino, Lisa (Anthony) Perez; great-nephew, Timothy (Cherish) Kroehnert; 4 great-great nephews and 1 great-great niece. Services will be 11 AM, Saturday, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls Visitation one hour before. Memorials preferred to Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Interment Pleasant View.
