Doris Mae Sole, 94, of Apple Valley, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015. She was born October 3, 1920 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Helmer and Goldie (nee Boden) Lee. Doris is survived by her daughters Charlotte (Mark) Trewhella and Claudia (Madison) Hamrick; son Brent (Kristie) Sole; grandchildren Tami, Kelly, Heather, Missie, Tracey, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren Alex, Gavin, Zoe, Joey, Brenton, Madelynn, and Alexandra; plus many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Brenton; and brothers Art and Chet. Doris was courageous, strong, and loving while earning the respect of all who knew her. A private Inurnment for family will be held in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1 PM Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary at 14850 Garrett Avenue in Apple Valley. A gathering of family and friends to enjoy Doris’ special recipe cookies and beverages will be served following the service.
