Obituaries

Walking in the neighborhood today I came upon a familiar house with a newly posted “for sale” sign. It was David and Norma’s place. That news was sad enough, but learning of David’s passing amplified these feelings greatly. My condolences to Norma and the Booty family. David, and of course Norma made the neighborhood a much better and beautiful place. “A single rose can be my garden; a single friend, my world." – Leo Buscaglia.

David was a good man. Not much else needs to be said. He represented the ideals and personal integrity that made this the best country ever conceived. It is people like him, the so-called common man, that are truly the foundation of any country that aspires to greatness. He is already missed; Heaven has a new resident.
