Daniel E. Oberpriller

Born August 20, 1949 and died April 9, 2019. Proceeded in death by parents, Frank and Sarah Oberpriller, brother Gary and twin brother Dean.  Graduated with honors from DeLaSalle High School, later serving on the Board of Trustees for 15 years.  Awarded “member of emeritus” and member of DeLaSalle’s Hall of Fame for his service and dedication.

Daniel (Dann) graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota School of Journalism and worked for various advertising agencies in Minneapolis.  In 1980, Dann started his own agency, RK&O, with his brother Dean.  They then formed DK&O and eventually DBK&O.  Much later, Dann and Dean started Access Partners.

Daniel is survived by sister Evonne (Ed) Johnston, brother Lon (Nancy) Oberpriller and sister-in-law Ginny (Gary) Oberpriller, daughter Elizabeth Mura, son Daniel Oberpriller (Jessica Sells), grandchildren William and Jack (Elizabeth), girlfriend Ingrid Lee, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.   1-2pm Reception, 2-3pm Service.  3640 23rd Ave. South, Minneapolis, MN 55407.   The internment will be at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Almena, WI.
