Johnson, Dale Sverre

Age 85 of Rosemount, passed away on April 20, 2023. Preceded in death by his parents, Sverre & Inga; sisters, Marlis, Joyce, and Deanna. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Teresa; children, Patrick (Lilian), Lisa (Michael) Stewart, and Kimberly (Jeffery) Giacomini; grandchildren, Cory (Mhica), Marissa (Paul), Joseph, Summer, Megan (Devin), Jacob, Jayden, Isabel, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Elias and Morley; siblings, Shirley (Don) Comeau, Sandy Johnson, and Steven Johnson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Dale graduated from Austin High School. After high school he joined the US Airforce. Dale married Teresa on June 11, 1966 in Rochester. He enjoyed his job as an aircraft mechanic and later inspector with Northwest Airlines and retired in 2001 after 34 years. Dale was an avid tree farmer for most of his adult life. He was a firearm safety instructor with the MN DNR for over 40 years. Dale enjoyed his retirement years with many projects and keeping busy. He had a great love for his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the Church of St. Joseph, 13900 Biscayne Ave. W., Rosemount, with visitation one hour prior. Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
